Under certain circumstances, it might be challenging to coordinate a time when all parties can be present. If specifically directed, we can access a property using a lockbox or hidden key. However, we are unable to travel to an offsite location to retrieve a key for entry.
We offer various payment options for your convenience. You have the choice to pay in cash or by check during the photoshoot. Alternatively, you can make a payment online using most major credit cards through our invoicing system. Please note that your media will only be accessible for download once the payment has been successfully processed.
We, CinemaLions, maintain the copyright to the images unless special arrangements are made and additional licensing fees are paid. Our package prices strictly cover MLS usage licensing and related social media purposes. The Agent/Client will have the right to reprint all provided images in unlimited media (print, web, video, e-mail) for marketing the property in any manner, either for one year or until the property is sold, whichever comes first. Beyond that period, relicensing or a new photoshoot will be required, as a reshoot is often necessary after a year.
It is crucial to understand that only the original client is granted a license to use the images, and this license cannot be transferred. In the event that the client is a homeowner who later hires an agent, the agent would need to obtain a separate license to use the images. The transfer of image licenses to another listing agent is not permitted without the payment of relicense fees.
While the Agent/Client is not obligated to link to or acknowledge CinemaLions in any reprints while the property is actively listed on the MLS, we do not watermark the images ourselves.
If, after a property is sold, you wish to continue using an image(s) on your website or promotional materials, we appreciate it! However, please notify us in advance and provide us with photo credit. We may charge a small fee for unlinked or uncredited images. Unauthorized use of any image constitutes copyright infringement, and substantial fees will be enforced in such cases.
We acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances can arise in today's fast-paced world. We kindly request that you inform us promptly upon becoming aware of any issues. Please be aware that cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will incur a charge of 25% of the total invoice amount. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the invoice total.
It is important to note that we expect the property to be ready for photography at the scheduled appointment time. If we are required to wait for more than 30 minutes after the designated time for the property to be prepared or to gain access to the premises, a 50% fee will be added. In the event that we are made to wait for an hour or longer, or if the shoot is entirely canceled, a 100% fee will be applied. We reserve the exclusive right to terminate the shoot after waiting for 20 minutes or more, at our discretion. Any fees for lateness, cancellations, or shoot terminations must be paid in full before a new date can be scheduled.
While we cannot control the weather, we will proceed with all photography-only appointments regardless of inclement weather conditions. If video is involved, we may be able to reschedule exterior shots only on the next available day. There are no penalties for weather-related delays.
No, our standard photo packages are exclusively licensed for MLS postings. For listings such as Airbnb or VRBO, we offer commercial photo packages specifically tailored to meet their requirements. It is highly recommended to initially purchase a commercial listing package to ensure that you receive the appropriate style and quality that these images deserve, and to prevent any potential misunderstandings.
It is possible, but please note that we do not function as a photo storage service. Generally, we retain images online for a period of up to 30 days. After that, the responsibility for image storage shifts to you. If you require the images to be reuploaded after the initial storage period, there may be an additional fee associated with it.
